One+Plus Kits and Care in Regions

Once again, CLP is asking congregations to make and deliver One+Plus Kits to Synod Assembly. We want to be prepared to provide immediate response in the form of these kits of household incidentals to families in need. Over the past 3 years, over 1,000 of these kits have been distributed, and congregations like yours have provided them all.

CLP - LDR - STUFF!

Community Lutheran Partners, Inc. working with Lutheran Disaster Response and Trinity Lutheran (Arden) of Martinsburg is proud to announce a new Donations Management site and the introduction of STUFF! In addition to One+Plus Kit storage, the team at Trinity (composed of members from several area congregations) will be creating and storing Sheets Towels Utensils For Families. Bedding kits (twin, full, queen, blanket & pillow), bath kits (large towel, hand towel, washcloth), silverware sets (knife,fork,spoon), and pots & pans will be collected through donation efforts and stored at the facility which will feature wooden rack shelves designed for this purpose. Trinity will serve as the model for this project, and we will plan on expanding STUFF storage to other sites in the synod as well.

CLP and Thrivent Giving Plus

Another strong partnering effort with Thrivent has resulted in CLP becoming a member of the Thrivent Giving Plus program. In this program, money donated to a social ministry organization such as CLP will be matched 50% by Thrivent funds.
